What We Do

Barber Gibbs Dream Memorial Scholarship is dedicated to enriching our community by providing transformative opportunities for young adults through our scholarship and mentorship programs. We aim to empower individuals who seek educational support, fostering their growth and success as they pursue their academic and career aspirations.

How We Help

In memory of Barber Gibbs, our non-profit scholarship is designed for young adults aged 18-26 who require support in pursuing their academic aspirations. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in either a vocational technical school or an undergraduate program at a higher education institution.

Applicants are required to write a 1-page letter detailing their plans to make positive changes in their community. This letter should outline their aspirations, goals, and strategies for contributing to community development and impact. The selected recipient(s) will be awarded up to $2,000.00, disbursed as a check made payable directly to the recipient’s educational institution.
